Office Closed: 16 December to 9 January

We’re closing the office from Friday 16 December until Monday 9 January

Prouse Family Accountants has already lodged more than 5000 income tax returns this financial year. Just like previous years, we are closing the office for a couple of weeks to relax, rewind and recharge with family and friends.

Whilst the office is closed we will not be accessing our email or returning phone calls. We will return at 9AM on Monday 9 January 2011.

If we are waiting on information from you to finalise your return then we aim to complete it in January.

We appreciate our clients and we look forward to working with you again in the coming year. The greatest compliment you can give us is when you refer your friends, family and small business colleagues.

2011 Tax Return Services

From 1 July 2011, Prouse Family Accountants will be able to prepare and electronically lodge individual and business income tax returns for the 2010/11 financial year.From 1 July 2011, Prouse Family Accountants will be able to prepare and electronically lodge individual and business income tax returns for the 2010/11 financial year.

We can prepare income tax returns for:

  • Salary and wage individuals
  • Rental property owners
  • Pensioners and self funded retirees
  • Fly in/Fly out workers
  • Small business owners
  • Sole traders, partnerships, companies and trusts
  • Self managed super funds

Call the office on 08 9246 9055 when you are ready to make your appointment.

What time can I make an appointment?

Our Marmion office is open – by appointment – weekdays from 8:30AM until 7:30PM (last appointment at 7PM). On Fridays we are open from 9AM until 5PM and on Saturdays from 9AM until 1PM.

Mobile tax return services are available on weekdays from 9AM until 7PM.

What paperwork and information do I need to bring?

In a nutshell, we need to see details of your personal, investment and business income and any details of any expenses you have incurred to receive that income.

Don’t Panic! We have created an income tax return checklist to help you organise your paperwork and give you some guidance on what can and can’t be claimed on your 2011 income tax return.

Can you come to see me?

Yes. We are pleased to offer mobile tax return services in more than 200 Perth suburbs. Mobile appointments can be made 7 days a week between 9AM and 7PM.

Office closed for Christmas

Prouse Family Accountants will be closed for Christmas until January 2009.The Festive Season of 2009 is upon us! Time certainly flies.

We will be closing our office on Friday 18 December 2009 and returning to work on Wednesday 6 January 2010.

We will continue to check our email throughout the holiday period – although we might take a day or two longer to reply to some emails.

We would like to wish every a Merry Christmas and a safe and Happy New Year.

Do you still need to lodge your 2008 tax return?

At the end of this month, the ATO will shutdown its e-Tax system for another year. If you have not lodged your 2008 income tax return, there is no need to panic.

It’s Tax Time Again

This year, we have expanded and our new name, Prouse Family Accountants, is a way of recognising our expanded services and capabilities. We’re “family accountants” because we specialise in families: tax, business, investment, superannuation. We’re efficient, relaxed, straight forward and convenient.

In 2008, we are expanding north and have opened a new office in Joondalup. You can find us at 5/140 Grand Boulevard, just behind St George Bank, right next to RAMS Home Loans. Carel will be relocating to the office permanently and Matthew will be joining him there 1-2 days a week. If you’d like to see us in Joondalup, please call us on 9246 9055 to make your appointment.

In 2008, we are expanding south and have employed another very experienced mobile tax accountant, Arthur McInnes to assist our thousands of clients south of the river. With rising petrol prices and higher interest rates, you probably need your tax refund – FAST!

To do that, make an appointment; come to one of our offices; pay your fees up front; and have the ATO deposit your refund directly into your bank account. We are happy to answer client questions via phone, appointment or email throughout the year. However, as of 1 July 2008 we will be charging frequent callers for our services.
